Dr. med. Jutta Beier

Managing Director, Regulatory Affairs

Jutta Beier, MD, was born in 1973. She received three years of medical training in internal medicine, allergy and pulmonary at Mainz University Hospital, (Germany), further six months in clinical dermatology at Mainz University Hospital, and was trained in basic laboratory research at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, USA, in 1998.

Dr. Beier has a board certification in nutritional medicine and holds a degree in health economics (BI). 

She received the German Lung Foundation Doctoral Award 2002 for her thesis on induced sputum oxidative stress analysis in inflammatory lung diseases. Dr. Beier has designed and conducted over 50 clinical trials of phases I-IV in asthma, rhinitis, and COPD as Principal Investigator or Clinical Trial Leader (LKP) according to german drug law (AMG).

At insaf, she is also responsible for Regulatory Affairs.

She peer-reviews for scientific and medical journals such as Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine and Respiratory Research and serves as consultant and advisor for biomedical and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Beier is a member of the British Thoracic Society, and German Society of Pneumology.

Dr. Beier has published several scientific articles in the field of lung inflammation and therapy.
